Print Application, complete and submit with bin location photo, fee, POLICE REQUEST FORM to the Clerk's Office for processing. This is an annual permit.

Registration deadline is 21 days before an election. Registration is permanent in New Jersey but one must re-register for the following reasons: Change in name due to marriage, divorce or by judgement of a court, Change in residence. Exception is a move within the County and voter has not notified the commission, they go to new polling site and vote by Provisional Ballot. When voter changes name, they vote by sign both names at time of voting.

GENERAL ELECTION is Tuesday, November 5, 2024 and Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, October 15, 2024

PRIMARY ELECTION is Tuesday, June 4, 2024 and Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, May 14, 2024

This application must be received by the County Clerk not later than 7 days prior to the election, unless you apply in person or via an authorized messenger during County Clerk's office hours, but no later than 3:00 p.m. the day prior to the election. Print the application and mail it to the Passaic County Clerk. The Passaic County Clerk's Office will then mail the BALLOT to address given in the application.

The GRC has established an updated version of the old "Model OPRA request form" to include the following: 1) certifiable statements addressing commercial purpose & pending litigation have been added to the "Requestor Information" box; 2) new & amended exemptions added to the "Reasons for Denial" list 3) information page has been changed to reflect relevant new & amended provisions.
