Established by Ordinance through Administration of Government, Chapter 15 (§15-90) to make recommendations to the Council and the Director concerning matters of policy affecting the Department of Community Services and Recreation and to the Board of Education concerning or relating to the use of the facilities, athletic equipment and plans of the school system, and may advise the Mayor, Council and Director generally concerning recreational and community services programs and the use of recreational areas in the Township. This Committee is comprised of seven citizen members appointed by the Township Council, a Board of Education liason, Council liason and the Community Services & Recreation Director. The Committee makes recommendations concerning the various recreational programs offered by the Township.
