The Animal Control Officer (ACO) investigates animal complaints and complaints of cruelty and neglect to animals. The Animal Control Officer is responsible for the dog and cat licensing program. The ACO also conducts an annual dog and cat census, and routinely patrols the Township looking for stray domestic animals and sick and injured wildlife.

The Animal Control Officer oversees the rabies immunization clinic for cats in the Spring and dogs in the Fall.

LICENSE YOUR DOG FOR 2021 BEGINNING JANUARY 1st, 2021
You must license your dog before January 31st, 2021 to avoid the Late Fee

*Dog Rabies vaccination must be valid thru October 24, 2021


LICENSE YOUR CAT FOR 2020-2021
Cat licenses expire June 30, 2020
Late fee after July 31, 2020 - $8.00

 *Cat Rabies vaccination must be valid thru April 24, 2021

Cat & Dog Fees

  • The fee for all Dog and Cat Licenses is $20.00
    • Add Late Fee - for Cats August 1 + $8.00
    • Add Late Fee - for Dogs February 1 + $8.00

*Discount for License (dog-neutered; cat-spayed) - $10.00 with a Neuter Certificate

There is no provision for late night Mandatory Dog or Cat Licensing
