OFFICE OF OLDER ADULT SERVICES

 
 
The Office of Older Adult Services is committed to providing quality assistance to the aged of our community.  The office can assist senior citizens in a variety of aspects.  Recreation, guidance, education and fellowship are just a few areas this office offers to our seniors.
 
The Office of Older Adult Services is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am. to 4:30 pm.

Programs offered on a regular basis:
 


Monday Pokeno 9:30 am. – 11:30 am.
Tuesday & Thursday Senior Aerobics 9:00 am. –  10:00 am.
Thursday Hairstylist 10:00 am. – 12:30 am.
Friday Tai Chi 10:00 am. -  11:00 am.
Friday Mahjongg 12:30 pm. – 3:30 pm.
 
 
Our office provides free blood pressure screenings. .
 
Guidance with Medicare, PAAD & Senior Gold applications.
 
Special events throughout the year include:
 
Soup ‘n’ Sandwich Luncheon-Bingo           Senior Citizen Picnic
Shopping trips to area Malls                       Christmas Party

Bowling League                      Senior Olympics

Tuesday Social Club                                             Halloween Luncheon
Fresh Flower Design classes                              St. Patrick’s Day Party

Programs are held at the Hillcrest Community Center, 1810 Macopin Road, West Milford.
