Health Inspectors investigate and inspect water and septic systems. For purposes of complaint investigation and the permitting process, they are involved with the testing of water in streams, lakes and wells.  Also inspected are food establishments, camps, public beaches and pools including other commercial facilities and they respond to complaints regarding insects and rodents, air, water and soil pollution.
