ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR FY 2020 AND VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING JUNE 30, 2020

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Federal regulations at 24 CFR, Part 91 and the Passaic County Citizen Participation Plan, as amended, Passaic County has prepared a new Annual Action Plan for FY 2020 for the Community Development Block Grant Program. The FY 2020 Annual Plan covers program period from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021.
Passaic County will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 12 noon. The virtual public hearing will be held on passaiccounty.webex.com , meeting number: 716 317 472, password: 57rSSHJcNN2 or by telephone: 408-418-9388, access code: 716 317 472. .

The purpose of the hearing is to solicit citizen comments on the Annual Action Plan. The FY 2020 Annual Plan identifies the activities that will be undertaken to address priority needs and local objectives during FY 2020.
Copies of the Annual Action Plan for FY 2020 are available for public inspection and review on the websites of the following organizations for a thirty‑day period from June 12, 2020 to July 13, 2020.

The County expects to receive $914,518 for the program year that runs from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021. Activities including infrastructure, public facility improvements and public services are funded in the FY 2020 Action Plan. All activities proposed will serve low and moderate income populations.
Passaic County intends to submit the Annual Action Plan for FY 2020 to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or about July 21, 2020. The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders is expected to take action on the FY 2020 Annual Action Plan on July 14, 2020.
