GENERAL INSTALLATION OF CO DETECTORS   CO detectors shall be located in every sleeping area as Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 4 below. All CO detectors should be installed in a competent manner and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. All CO alarms or detectors should be located and mounted so that accidental operation will not be caused by jarring or vibration. All CO alarms or detectors should be supported independently of their attachment to wires.
