The West Milford Museum The Township of West Milford Heritage Committee is a 17 member advisory committee to the Township Council, including fifteen citizen members, one Council member and one staff member.  The Committee was formed in 1985 for the purpose of preserving local history through the establishment of a Township museum.  The Town Hall Annex building was designated as the museum site in the mid-1980's, and since that time the Heritage Committee members have supervised the renovation projects in the circa 1860's building, as well as volunteering to staff the museum on weekends and during special events.  In addition to overseeing the museum business and maintenance, members prepare exhibits, collect and catalog artifacts, host lectures, seminars and other events, supervise student interns, and conduct special tours of the museum for local scouts, schools, and community organizations.  The members also aid in research on historical events, host fund raisers including the annual tennis tournament, and coordinate the remaining renovation projects.  The Heritage Committee usually holds its regular meetings on the second Tuesday of each month.  For information about the Heritage Committee, please visit the museum on Saturdays, from 1 to 4, email at museum@westmilford.org, or call the museum at 973-728-1823 and leave a message.     Current 2013 Heritage Committee Members:          Tonya Cubby - Chairperson     Mary Kochka - Vice-Chairperson      Kristen Koerner - Secretary      Adrian Birdsall - Treasurer     Colleen Andreniuk     Robert Bailey     Sondra Bejgrowicz     JoAnn Blom     Vivienne Erk     Michael Gerst     Robert Kochka      Marilyn Lichtenberg     Dale MacNeill     James Scheuering     Council Liaison - Luciano Signorino                                                                   2013 Meeting Dates                                                  All meetings start at 7:30 p.m. at the Museum.   January 8, 2013               July 9, 2013   February 12, 2013            August 13, 2013   March 12, 2013                September 10, 2013   April 9, 2013                    October 8, 2013   May 14, 2013                   November 12, 2013   June 11, 2013                  December 10, 2013
