THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE BY THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL FOR THE SEASONAL FLU VACCINE:.
The West Milford Health Department will CONTINUE TO take appointments for the seasonal flu clinics at the end of this month in order to provide our residents with ample opportunities to get protected against the seasonal flu and pneumonia. This year’s regular flu vaccine will be administered by appointment only. The flu shot is available to any of our West Milford residents who want to reduce the likelihood of becoming ill with influenza or spreading the flu to others. The “seasonal” influenza vaccines are formulated to prevent annual flu. They do not protect against pandemic HIN1 influenza. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommends the following persons protect themselves from seasonal flu.

If you have other insurance cards, please contact your provider to see whether or not you will be covered by this Municipality. You may be able to get your flu shot at no cost from your physician's office.
