INTERGENERATIONAL PROGRAMS ADOPTED GRANDPARENT PROGRAM Senior citizens and 4th grade students from the Maple Road School are teamed up and get together during the year. They get together 4-5 times during the year at Maple Road School and also at the Hillcrest Community Center. At the end of the school year the students write essays on Growing-Up/Growing-Older. The students are awarded certificates by the Mayor at a Township Council meeting.   PASS PROGRAM Singing program for seniors under the direction of Joanne Schapper and Doug Heyburn. Seniors meet to practice on Wednesdays 2:15 pm. at the West Milford High School.   SEEK PROGRAM Seniors volunteer their time in area schools, Kindergarten thru 6th grade. The seniors choose the school they want to volunteer, days and hours are determined by the teacher and the senior.
